1) Rox move back to playing 0.500 at home...last 4 years they have average 0.600 clip at home
2) While it is a nice thought that the Rox have turned a corner (winners in 3 straight games!) they have a long way to go in their last 33 games. 20-13 to finish 0.500 and 26-7 to get to my preseason expectation. Maybe they will bookend their season with a great April and September!
3) As fate would have it Barmes, longtime Rox, came up with two outs in the ninth down by 4. While the bases weren't juiced it would have been dramatic if it had been...fortunately for Rox he struck out.
4) CarGo has a 10 game hit streak in which he his bating 14-38 with six homers and 19 RBIs. Could the team ride CarGo and Tulo to the playoffs? Stranger things have happened and we do have 13 games left against D-backs and Giants...just saying
