Box Score Bytes - Game 129

- Game 64 of the Great Tracy Experiment (Train Wreck): Record 28-36.  I realize we are rushing this kid so that we can get immediate gratification and know whether giving up our greatest pitcher was worth it but watching Pomeranz pitch is just painful.  Collected another loss today and went all of 4 innings.  In 16 starts he has one win.  Averages about 4.1 innings pitched.  Certainly a trial by fire but how long are we going to give this kid?  Starter's record is now 11-27 with 26 no decisions and bullpen record of 17-9.

- Rox had 15 hits, they were all singles!

- Once again I am just amazed at some of the success of opponent's starters at Coors.  Joe Blanton pitches into the 8th inning.  Rox pitching is just the antithesis of every one else in baseball.  Nice article in the Denver Post about the "paired pitching" experiment.  If this is the path forward, are the Rox trendsetters and if it succeeds what does it mean for pitchers in the future?  Pitchers might curse Coors even more with the loss of starter's salary...
