- Game 20 of the Great Tracy Experiment: Record 8-12. Guthrie goes 6.0 IP. Throws 83 pitches. Left the game with a loss but Rox came back and got him a no decision. Nice relief performance and a nice way to end the first half. With Guthrie on display I will find it hard to believe he will be pitching for the Rox much longer. Guthrie has a 3.70 ERA his demotion and rebirth. It was 7.02 before.
- Nats were 40-2 leading after seven before yesterdays loss.
- Rockies won their first series in over a month and had their second comeback win of the season.
- EY Jr had gone 179 games without a homer before getting a dinger.
