- Game 24 of the Great Tracy Experiment: Record 10-14. Francis goes 5.0 innings. Throws 72 pitches. Gives up 1 run and leaves with a win. If it wasn't for a rain delay in the Top of the ninth inning which then led to a game tying homer, Francis might have gotten the win. By the way since the experiment begin the team record is 10-14 but the starter's record is 4- 11 with 9 no decisions and a bullpen record of 6-3.
- Fowler saves the game with a great grab in center to rob an extra base hit and a sacrifice fly to deep center to score the winning run. A nice July so far for Rox center fielder. Too bad Rox are 19 games below .500.
- Gotta love the umpires who stop a game in the Top of the Ninth inning with two runners on and one out. Have to wonder why it even went to a 9th if the weather was like it was. Amazing with one pitch after the delay Pirates hit a game tying homer. Gotta love baseball!
- Interesting to see what happens when Helton comes off the DL...Tracy hasn't had to juggle the lineup with Colvin getting his starts.
